We are staying in San Juan de los Terreros for a month from 6 November 2017 and would like to get two adult bikes (ideally 1 gents, 1 ladies though not essential) to use during our stay. Happy to consider buying, renting or borrowing. We have secure storage so could keep them safe. Can anyone help please.

I know there are rental agencies in Mojacar. Look at the on-line The Almeria Focus Magazine & Directory. Bikes for sale at the various Rastros or try the various local facebook forums. See them advertised all the.time or you can post advert.

Apologies but they have.both gone. Things move so fast on the fb forums. It was Arboleas, buy'n sell No Trade.
You have I good Mojacar forum, one Turre, one Huercal Overa, a couple of Akbox& Arboleas and a Mojacar/Vera.
We have had some great buts and sold off excess items. Just bought 2 amazing Eklectric Reclining armchairs and a 2 seater settee for 150€. OK I had to transport but the recliners were 750€ ea at DFS & these.are way nicer.
You need to join and keep looking.
Luckily I have an L200 so transport not a great problem.

Thanks again Bob, probably a bit more than I want to pay anyway just to use for a month and leave here. Really could do with a loan or cheap rental (not the 8 euros a day type) will keep looking.

Just a PS but what about buying and then re-selling? Not seen many below that orice.

Hi, don't know if this is any help but there is a charity shop at the side of the Ford dealers in Huercal Overa that has 2 bikes for sale. Didn't take much notice when we were there today but they looked in good condition. The lady who runs the shop is called Mandy Simpson who does Galgo rescue and is on Facebook, if you contact her she could give you details and possibly send you photos of them.
