New Aldi in Roquetas

Is suppose it must be Aldi if the sign is up so I suppose it is scheduled to open for the summer.

I heard that there is a Carrefour opening in Roquetas, although recently someone told me that the Eroski in Gran Plaza is being taken over by Carrefour, which seems odd.  Don´t know what to believe.

Yes, I believe the Eroski in the Gran Plaza is becoming a Carrefour. I find it strange since there is one just up the road by the motorway. And our local petrol station in Roquetas Urba. has just become a Carrefour express. I think they are trying to take over the world, or Spain at least.

Eroski had a liquidation sale last week. I think It will be a carrefour. When it will open I do not know.

I know what you mean but that´s the French for you!  I actually like Carrefour better than Eroski and my only gripe with the one in Vicar that you mention is that it is not very concenient when you live by the port or the urbanization, especially in the summer with the traffic, plus it is very small and has a very reduced range of electrical/household and textiles. The bigger one will be better for me.

If the Eroski store in the gran plaza is being taken over by carrefour does that mean the petrol station closes down. The diesel is a good price for filling the car 🚗 so what will happen to it does anybody know.? 

I saw a digger by the petrol station the other day. That may not be a good sign.

However they may just be doing what they call in the business, a KDRB (knock down and re-build).

I saw on the back of a bus the other day that the Aldi will open on June 29th.

The petrol station that was eroski is currently being revamped so looks like it is staying and like you I hope the price stays low as before.
