Hi both,if you Google furniture shops in roquetas de mar several will come up and they all have decent ratings..sorry I can't be of more help but my mum did say she bought her bed and sofa from a little shop down by the marina but on the main road,she can't remember the name though...good luck.

hi plenty places in Roquetas and Almeria, Ikea isnt that far in Murcia and there is one in Malaga, also I haven't tried it but there is a shop close to Bricomart roundabout which will order and deliver from Ikea for you 

hi Essendee57,thanks for your reply,ive found a couple of shops in the area that we,ll visit when we  are next in Roquetas in a few weeks time,just hope they can deliver quickly as we,re only over for a week this time,many thanks, Phill and Jayne..

There's a shop called Rapimueble on the Carretera de Alicun in Roquetas which does furniture which you can assembly yourself (like Ikea, sort of thing).  They are in lots of places all over Spain and online too but don´t know if their web page is in English.  On the same road there are various places which sell and deliver furniture.
