Language lessons

Does anyone know of Spanish language lessons available in the Roquetas area? I’m particularly interested in group learning opportunities. I was attending courses in Britain for a year until April.

Hello Chris,
it is not exactly free, it cost 25 euros per year if I am correct. And it's two of them one in Roquetas and another in Las Marinas. the best way to find address is to ask in tourist information shop in Urba near the Mercadona.
I hope that helps

OK, an update on my search for Spanish lessons! I called at the Tourist Office but they had no idea and suggested I try the Las Marinas Ayuntamiento office on Calle Trafalgar.
Initially the Las Marinas office told me there are no lessons in Las Marinas. Then they said there are but they start in October and take place near the church here, within easy walking distance. However I apparently need to register for them at the Roquetas Ayuntamiento offices during September. A bit round the houses but this is Spain.

Hi,
What they mean is you need to be registered to prove you are not a tourist. The cost of 25 euros is for the books. More info you find on the website of the Ayuntamiento.
