Your best bet is to join the Facebook group: Roquetas de Mar. There are far more people on there than in this Costa Almeria group which mainly has Mojacar and Vera residents, in my experience.

You dont ever have tto be lonely. There is a loving, above-board German as wells as an Eglish group in Roquetas where you would be welcome and even elevated, held in high esteem and respect, and be helped where ever help is needed. Interested?
