If you want to live in Spain and avoid Brexit get here before 31 October!

I Keep seeing posts on this forum from fellow Brits who are planning to relocate here to Spain after Brexit. They seem totally oblivious to how losing our EU citizenship, freedom of movement and all associated rights will affect them.
Some are planning to move from another EU country to Spain but, if Brexit goes ahead, they will still need to register here as ‘third’ country (not EU country) immigrants in a ‘no deal’ situation and if there is a deal, they will need to move before the WA transition period ends.
Even with a deal, our post-Brexit rights will only apply to the country we are legally residing in at the time of Brexit – ‘onward freedom of movement’ is NOT included in the Withdrawal Agreement, although British in Europe are fighting very hard to get this right protected.
The only way to ensure that people have a chance of remaining here after Brexit (if they wish to avoid that third country immigration criteria) is to move before it happens and if they are unable to register in time, at least obtain proof that they did actually reside here before the exit date.
Or, just stop Brexit ...
And before an ostrich pops up and says this is “just scaremongering”, it isn't, these are well documented and published facts.
