Can landlords raise our rent since we are stuck here?

I know, but because of covid-19 the government have stated rents cannot be raised - look at the idealista article I attached. I just don't know whether the article is true

As far as I recall, rental contracts that terminate during the State of Alarm must automatically be extended by three months, at the rate the current contract is at.  CAB Spain would know more, but I definitely recall seeing the mandatory 3 month extension

Regardless of the rent increases.....unless you are a Spanish resident you can only stay for 90 days within a 180 day window.....This has always been the law but was never really reinforced when UK was part of the EU....But it will be now! So careful about signing for a long term at the end of this year....Big fines I suspect for those who do not comlpy....
