Hi, can anyone please tell me if there is a bus route that runs past the Castillo de Santa Ana in Roquetas de Mar, to the shopping centre (sorry don't know its name) where Primark is situated?  If so do you know how often it runs, can you buy a return and how much is the ticket?

Many thanks

DAWN

Hi Dawn, the shopping centre is called the gran plaza...it's probably a 10 minute walk from the castle,if you know where the market is it's just over the road.I'm sure if you go to one of the bus stops and say gran plaza to the driver he'll let you know which bus to catch..

Hi Autumn H,

Yes, there is a bus/es but don't ask me what numbers.  It's certainly takes more than 10 minutes to walk to Gran Plaza.  I wouldn't recommend doing it in the summer either!

There are bus stops along the  Avenida de Sabinar and various buses stop there coming from the Urbanization, and I think they all pass by Gran Plaza shopping centre. The service is s bit erratic, especially at the moment so best not to use the service between 2 pm and 5pm ( lunch period).  I seem to remember last year that it cost something like 2 euros 30 cents.  The bus stops approx opposite Toys R'Us and going back, walk to end of the car park of the shopping centre by Worten and Sprinter (Sports),and you will find some steps down to pavement level where the bus stop is for your return trip.  Hope that helps.

Hi, thanks a million  for the information it helps me a lot especially when I have small children with me.  If I walk them too much before I get to the shops they won’t want to walk around them.
