Animal medication

Hi everyone, I have an almost 16yr old Jack Russell terrier who was diagnosed with Arthritis & canine dementia whilst in the U.K. (my hubbie & I moved here last Oct) she had been on pain meds (Loxicom or Metacam) In the U.K. & I was able to get one more prescription from the U.K. I then ordered it online as it was a LOT cheaper. They don’t do the same here do they?!! Anyway, apart from the fact that the vets here don’t agree with it, they’re now saying they can’t get any?!! They’ve said they will give her some tablets (don’t know what these are yet as hubbie has got to pick them up) I’m really worried that she may suffer & was wondering does anyone know of anything that can be bought, I’ve heard CBD oil is good but don’t know if this can be bought here. I work in the U.K. & my hubbie hasn’t been able to find anything out as yet. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks Angie
