Hi, my husband has to have regular B12 injections. I understand we can buy the vials (and needles/syringes) at the farmacia but he's reluctant to inject himself. Anyone know where he can go to have them administered & how much it might cost? Many thanks.

Hi,

It's possible to buy b12 tablets from U.K.(not available in Spain) The company is NuU nutrition and the tablets are one per day of high potency. They deliver to Spain.

Thanks Jenni I'll contact them & see what they can do...unfortunately tablets are no good as my husband can't absorb B12 except through injection

Hi,

Would you not consider jnjecting your husband? Believe me it is remarkably simple especially as it's a 25 gauge needle. Maybe the practice nurse at your GP can show you and then you practice on an orange. The skin has the right consistency.

Also I understand that certain pharmacies offer a free injection service so maybe enquire or even at the Health Centre? Locally bloods used to be taken at the Pharmacy.

I would offer but too far away.

Best Wishes,
