If you buy new or 2nd hand from one of the local shops then delivery is free or usually 10€. Mention the 2 excellent 2nd hand shops- Brians on Mojacar Playa on www and e mail [email protected] (lovely chap) or The Attic, Cucador. Inventory on www but slow with replies to e mails.

Remember Spanish beds are usually.longer & narrower than Brit so slightly different bedding sizes. We went with Brit and again buy and ship in with mrandmrsjonesfurniture. Outstanding catalogue on line. They also do mattresses although you can get from Groupon UK or es. Delivered.

Shame about beds as people always selling on local facebook forums. One Diuble for 100€ incl.mattress top  of range from Koala at Antas one of the most expensive local shops, (we would never use). We know the chap selling and it's new & a memory foam mattress. Too long for our room.

Electrics-'we go for the local Euronics stores. Garrucha. Vera. Huercal Overa. Just bought fridge/freezer and delivery to Mojacar 10€ & they fit and take old one away away. The Vera one isn't called Euronics but just towards roundabout /bullring from Iceland. They do all electrical goods. We would never recommend Lopez (Mojacar Playa and Antas) because of ignorant staff & returns policy. Think they are overpriced as well.

AC- loads of Brit firms on Playa but we use our Spanish chap from Puerto Lumbreras. We had the 3rd bedroom fitted with one and he was 150€ under the Brit firms. But Spanish speaking so on-site with google translate, pointing & diagrams and e mail in english & he translates; e [email protected] Too arduous for most Brits but we prefer Spanish. They still seem to retain  some ethical standards. Prices & services tend to be higher on coast.
