Hi
We will be moving to palomares in the next couple of years, as we have not been to palomares before could anyone tell me if there are any local markets for fruit and veg etc

There is a weekly market every Wednesday selling fruit, veg clothes etc

There is also one in Villaricos on a Sunday, which is a nice walk away. The villaricos market is a lot bigger than the Palomares one.
You also have Paco that sells fruit and veg at Monica’s bar, he is there most days.

It's in Palamores on the way down to the beach from Cuevas. I called in this morning and Pacos fruit and veg is great! He's not there on Saturdays.
You could buy all your fruit and veg and have breakfast in one go now they are open 😏

Hi Maggie
Yes it's good to have mercadona open again. I thought our bars and non essential shops could open from Saturday. We walked down to our local for a coffee but it was still closed. I wonder if they want to give it another week or so just in case it's back to level 4. 2 next week.

Just watch out for the malicious gossiping clicky Brits that frequent Monika's.I live but 2 minutes from there but never go near the place.......
