Just to add, there is an extremely helpful and efficient English lady in the Cajamar bank. The bank has an online account and there are no charges provided you have a monthly payment in, however small.

Yes she is very helpful in there,I don't bank with them but I was helping out someone who was in a bit of a financial mess and she sorted it all out for him.

The best way to find out is to rent a property.

 You will get the feel of the village and the surroundings that way.     

The market is there on a Wednesday and a bugger market on a Sunday in VillaRicos.

 I have a 2 bedroomed apartment for rental if required at reasonable friendly rates ! .
