So this is the result of us locals being tolerant of the campervans that are here for weeks at a time on our playa.Perhaps the do gooders would like to come and remove all their rubbish?

Doesn't look like campervan rubbish to me, the bags are too big, more like someone's been clearing out a house?

Unless you have seen who put that rubbish there you do not know , stop blaming Campervan’s just because you do not like them ...your like school kids who have lost there sweets and blaming anyone ....I suggest you find proof , before  spitting out your nonsense .....

Why have you started another post about the same thing.  I a,ready said it doesn’t look like campervan rubbish.  Why don’t you go, as you are near by and open it lol.  It obviously sticks  in your craw 😎

Well I hope all those who slagged me off for complaining about the number of camper vans on the playa feel pleased with themselves now. Just come back from there now and there is hardly any room left for anymore It is practically full. The local bylaws say no overnight parking.I think I would be very annoyed if I owned one of the designated parking sites. Why pay for overnight parking if you can get away scot free because no one seems interested in enforcing the law....have had words with the local police but they say it's not theirproblem and haven't seen any patrol car about along there for months now...

What proof do you actually have that this is from camper vans? Have you watched it being dumped by a camper van driver? Or are you just assuming adding 2 and 2 and getting 11?

Seems to me that if you’d had proof, you’d have mentioned it in initial post … sounds like you are doing a “well everybody knows that …”.

Funny thing you know, when I served in the RAF, dotted all around the briefing room were these posters saying “never assume - CHECK”.  And there’s you being a pilot and all, I would have thought you’d have run across one or two ….

I am not really on about the rubbish though that was piled up high the other week but it looks like the ayumiento have sorted that out by removing most of the rubbish bins......🙁These days I am talking about the number of camper vans.Must be a 100+ down there today......the signs clearly say no overnight camping. There's a designated camping site about 800 metres away.

Look … they are not harming you; the Ayuntamiento are turning a blind eye, as are the police.  Clearly they recognise that it’s good for the local economy … why are you getting so upset about it? Live and let live Biggles, they are not harming you or your way of life, they are not blocking access to the beach or any facilities - I know this for certain because I moved to the Palomares end of Vera Playa in August - in fact I am right on the border of Palomares close to the Repsol garage so I get clear view of the multitudes of camper vans.

And they are not a permanent fixture, they come, they go, and then someone else comes - and they likely all spend money at the Repsol, at Monika’s, with Paco for Fruit and Veg, in Palomares itself.  They are good for the local economy and I suggest that is why the “no overnight parking” is not strictly enforced - certainly not in the “off” season when every visiting €€€ will be most welcome to local businesses

Well I live near the Repsol garage too and if the law says no overnight parking then it should be enforced. What about the guy who runs the Camping Palomares site then or the campsite up at Vera? He/ they have paid to provide amenities and they aren't being used. I reckon there must be a 100+ on the playa this morning. If they were paying 10 euros a night each he would be on a 1000 euros a day. They are unsightly and God knows where all their rubbish and detritus goes, probably chucked into the vegetation behind themin the wooded area...

Making assumptions again.  For whatever reason you just don’t like them and are vainly trying to justify your prejudice with bluster and false assumption. Shame on you.

live and let live; and a quote from a book I don’t myself follow, but holds true nonetheless - “judge not, lest ye yourself be judged”.  Probably a good one to remember when spluttering about others breaking the law, hmmm?
