I am a person who wants to live and let live. I'm very easy to get along with, ask my wife! There are occasions when we must be mindful of the needs of others. Owners of campervans while on a break is an example. They (as far as I am aware) are not the cause of Covid. We might not like driving behind a campervan when we are in a rush to get somewhere, but they pay road-tax too along with income tax. They are morally entitled to be where they are and don't deserve to be secretly photographed by somebody exercising his dogs on the beach and worse again not in full control of his dogs. I bet the campervan people are not querying where the dogs dump their loads while their owner listens to wall-to-wall FM music while taking fresh air from his car. Neither, are they pursuing you to see where you dump your stuff.
Fortunately, the local police have some common sense in such situations and like most they allow others to live as best they can.
Where I live, there can be big match-days and the whole area becomes infested with cars and parking is at a premium. On such days, our police travel around the district with loud-speaker blaring from the roof of the police-car asking people to allow motorists park in private drive-ways to alleviate the situation. Most people comply and even my aforementioned wife has tea ready for the car owners in our drive-way when they return after the match.
And even if your name is Alicia or Biggles, you are welcome to park your car in our drive way anytime and perhaps you can enjoy a cup of tea with us and of course, Alan.
