I can't answer that. But officially, there is no overnight stay, (day allowed, but "camping behaviour not accepted," which means no tables etc ) but I guess you're free to take the chairs to the beachside like fishermen do...

From review of 16/1, police drove past late night, but not chasing any away, contrary to a review from February last year....

...

Thank you

There is an occasional police car around.... I got stopped the other day on the rotonda at Las Bouganvillas.Wanted to know where I was from and where I was off to,all the car documentation and they even checked all that out by radioing HQ. Everything in order and as I was going to the opticians t...

...o pick up my prescription contact lenses all ok. Seems to me they could and should be checking much more than they are doing especially as they can't be in the bars having cafe and tapas at the moment as they usually do....

Just after being talking to a few of my friends who are in the Guardia civil they want to know would you like to come out and do a few shifts with them to come out with a comment like that have a bit of respect.

I suppose now with the municipality borders open as are the cafes and bars again so I guess we will be seeing the Guardia Civil propping up the bars up again now instead of upholding the law and doing their job.For a start why don't they enforce the speed limit on the new dual carriageway between Vera and Las Bouganvillas roundabout. I set 80 kph on the speed limiter and you are overtaken by all and sundry, some probably doing almost double the speed...

With an utterly inane and ignorant comment like that, I guess you are bored and publicly begging Guardia Civil to come and give you some “attention” ... you devalue the hard and often challenging - both physically and mentally - work these people do with such inane utterances.  I hope they do come and pay “attention” to you.

I’m with you Dario. That’s a very ignorant post Biggles. I for one wouldn’t do the job they do for a fortune. In all the years we have lived here, on the few occasions I’ve encountered an officer, they have been friendly , mannerly and efficient. I abide by the laws of the country I call home and if others don’t......well you can only dodge the bullet for so long until they catch up with you.

Yesterday, I received word that my date with the Covid-19 Vaccinators was put back by about 4 - 6 weeks as Astraveneca is supplying only 10% of what it contracted to do and I thought the week couldn't get any worse. Then I opened my forum account today to see Herr Biggles has posted again. The week has just got worse.

. . . . . Well No! The week has just got better when you really think about it  . . . .

Lots said, but still the original question of 'are the campers breaking the covid rules'  as no one has answered I can only guess that yes they are but dont want to admit it.
