Matriculation English cars

If you are in Spain on holidays and have your travel documents with you, i.e. return ferry trip etc, yes you are allowed to have a U.K. Registered car here. On the other hand if you are a resident, no you are not, neither are you allowed to drive with a UK driving licence.

The costs depend on the car, model, age etc. I think Hispavan in Antas matriculate vehicles but not sure. Give them a ring first for a quote.

I have just been n through the process and it cost me €1500 .I can recommend a lady called Clara ( based in Palomares)who can help you through the process. My charges included ITV which entailed a full set of new tyres so your costs maybe much less.My car is very old but I can’t part with it but paid 97€ for matriculation it will also  involve a trip to Almería to Traffico. I had to wait 1 month for an appointment. I think the limit you can drive your vehicle in the EU without returning to the UK is 6 months .But check Gov.UK website.

Hi, we used a combination of "The garage" on the poligono as you drive towards Albox and Cat Services in Last Alfoquia,

First thing the garage checked and will check are you're headlamps, then all the other stuff, Honda headlights cost partner almost €500 each !! Probable all in cost including the garage taking her car was around the €1500 mark as quoted. 

There are two types of ITV testing station, one does matriculation up the E15/A7 towards Murcia, and other places the others possibly the same do "ordinary" ITV (Spanish MOT).

I metriculated a Jaguar XF and the cost was 3300euros which made me think I should have taken it back to England and sold it.

Ok,not going to worth doing if it cost that much🙁

Have two Saab 9-3,both UK registered....

I’m assuming u not got a spanish one then , just matriculate one and use the other for parts . 
headlights are a tricky one cos then can range from 150 up to 2 k for one friggin headlight .

I paid 760 for a pair of lights for a Range Rover , I called a British company that I’ve used many many times , the experts of the experts , and he said we are the cheapest at 1350 each , I said nahhh I can get a pair for 760 .

He said I promise you they won’t be the correct ones .

so I plugged fir the cheap ones , took it to a garage where we both stripped parts off to save time , we had a right game to change em even with 2 5ft snap on chests to use .

And yup he was right they wernt right but they work ok so happy days
