Does anybody know which municipalities they are talking about? In particular, how Cuevas del Almanzora (including Palomares), Vera and Garrucha might be affected?

jimbo they are not really affected by this other than they can't travel outside the perimeters of Andalucia and must be indoors between 11pm and 6am unless for really good reasons.
Thanks Alicia, I was thinking that I would probably have heard somehow if there was anything that I needed to know but you can never quite tell.
A couple of weeks ago I was woken in the morning by a tannoy vehicle going around the village blaring out a message. I recorded it on WhatsApp and sent it to a Spanish acquaintance as I thought it might be important. She messaged me back to say that they were selling watermelons, 4 for €5.🤷🏽♂️😎

Sometimes it's bags of potatoes and onions....a good price if you're a family of 10 and can use a sack of each!!!
