We are in Palomares. Have now got fibre, installed last month. used it when we were out last week.

Installed by Avanza and very satisfied, Free installation and 15 euros a month or 120 euro installation and pay when use. We tokk the 15 euros a month as hopefully will be spendin about 2 months a year out here and used by familly as well.

You could probanly arrange fpr it to be installed before you arrive. THats what we did. We ordered in July and then arranged for installation to be just before we went out at end of Septenber

Acaciophone , the best and cheap

Went to acciaphone in mojacar office they told me do not have fibre in my location

I had Avanza install my fibre in June, the 300Mb package, no installation costs, 15€ a month, in my apartment in Palomares Bajo.. I actually tagged on a Spanish sim card for an extra 5€.

Great people to deal with, very prompt installation. My issue, though, is with the speed. Ever since, I have at times struggled to get a good download speed, with resulting poor connection, failing to get a connection, buffering etc. That should never happen with 300Mb. I just use it for emailing, normal internet use etc, no gaming or anything like that.

On checking, it was clocking around 30Mb or less, not the 300Mb quoted. That was when the laptop was within 2 metres of the router. Any farther in the house and it was useless. On reporting it to Avanza, I was told to check it with cable attached from the router to my laptop, This I did, and it clocked in excess of 300Mb. 

I am no techie, but to my mind you get what you pay for. With no installation costs, and 15€ a month, how can there be any money in it for them? For that reason, I believe the router is to blame, not necessarily faulty, but the cheap end of cheap, rubbish with wireless applications. It is a Huawei, who do a massive range of routers, and I reckon this one is the bottom of the heap. As I said, this is my personal view, I am not a techie, so I could be wrong.

Whatever, In this day and age we should not have to have wires trailing everywhere, and definitely not right through the house!

My new neighbour had another company install his, 2 people working on line from home, with no issues, but they pay 30€ a month. I shall have to find out with which company.
