Medical Centre
Good morning All,
I hope you are all safe and well.
I am posting this to give you the 'heads up'.
I am diabetic and this week I have developed a kidney infection which needs antibiotics to clear. Now there are no translators allowed into medical centres or hospitals at the moment but they can translate over the phone. So I arranged this with my translator and off I went to ORIA Medical centre, with my mask and gloves and a written translation, there was no one there except the woman doctor and a nurse. I laid the translation on the desk for the doctor to read, she read it threw her arms in the air and said something in Spanish which I didn;t understand, so she started to shout, I then got my phone out and indicate I would ring the translator, this sent her into panic mode, she pointed at the door shouting at me to get out. (even with my limited Spanish I could understand this) so I left. Came home my husband who does speak moderate Spanish went up there to have it out with her, but was met with by the nurse who tested the sample, yes I did have an infection, she went into see the doctor got the prescription for me. Now I have 2 points firstly, if she isn't going to treat patients why is she there, and secondly did she really have to be that rude and aggressive. Stay safe Jenni
