I have just been told that Oria is so badly affected that it has been decided to pick 100 people at random from the surrounding area to go for a test tomorrow at the medical centre, the said '100' have been notified via text.
I am not sure what good this is going to do????????

A lot of towns are having random COVID testing done Jenni, not just Oria.

Hi Puff, I didn;t know that, first I have heard of it, have you any thoughts on what they hope to achieve by doing this??
All over Andalusia is having these checks this week. Not sure why but I would guess that they are trying to get figures on which areas a worse and how long lockdown will be needed. Anyone with more insight?

I have been informed this morning it is under 60s, not sure if this is true.

The person I know that has been called is under 60.
It's a Covid test not an endurance test and the test takes only 5 minutes. I don't see it as such a big deal.

It is not a big deal, just interesting, keeping up with the local info on the virus.
