We just  want to get a feel for the area,  and see if Mojacar is somewhere we would like to retire to. 

I would like to meet up with any expats and ask their views on living in the area too.

I would consider, unless you are keen and frequent cyclists, renting electric bikes as you will probably cover more distance than you think.

There are a couple of bike shops in the comercial area around the roundabout at Las Bourganvilleas, which may be able to help.

Just remember it is very hot and exercise with caution.  There is often little shade if  need to rest. Early mornings and late evenings are best.
