Hi can any one give me any info how long applying for residency takes, as my solicitor applied on my behalf back in October 2020 still waiting to hear !! been told there is a back log of applications any one else in the same situation?
You can get information on your status of application by SMS , using your application number or NIE and by calling. Here is the website in English with all the information
https://sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es/pagina/index/directorio/infoext2/language/en
Many thanks for the information will have a look now .

Hi
Do you have someone doing your application, or are you doing it yourself ?

I would make a further enquiry with your agent. According to my agent, before brexit applications were taking about 6 weeks to the first physical appointment. After brexit she said that this has increased to 3months. She added that the 3 months is the official time they are allowed to take.
I have tried sending a txt to the number provided on the sede site but no joy, yet, won't hold my breath though 🤣🤣
