Hi all
We have just bought a place near Mojacar,
And the villa has some furniture in it.. beds etc, in good clean condition. We want to hang onto them until our new furniture arrives in a couple of weeks. Do 2nd hand furniture shops collect from your home or do we have to pay somebody to get rid of the old ones. ( the furniture is in good condition and can easily be reused) just not to our taste.

I’d check with the Red Cross to see if they have needy families that could avail of them.

you can normally put them outside and people will take them if they need them
Macs have a furniture shop in Albox and they will collect ask in the shop in Mojacar

Have a chat with the guys at "Items for sale " in Mojacar, they are based near hotel puntazo, they buy and sell second hand goods, if good condition you might get a few euros as well...

The Attic sell just this sort of thing, and they deliver, so might well collect if it is worth their while? Look it up on line?
The Attic, Avenida Europa, El Cucador, 04661 Zurgena, Almería, Spain. Or there is an auction house in Antas?
I have just joined this forum and I must say I am surprised at how helpful this community is.

"New life for animals" in las Buganvillas Vera Playa have a 2nd hand shop which i believe will pick up your furniture then sell it through their shop to raise funds for the stray cats and dogs. Dont know their number but they probably have a web site or facebook page
Thank you. I will also give them a ring and be interested in supporting that shop as there are lots of strays all over Spain.
