Hi folk, we are due to visit Mojacar in 2 weeks for the first time with the possibility of viewing properties, and maybe playing a little golf. What is the climate like November/December please as unsure what to pack?

Many thanks Tootipi

Shorts and teeshirts during daylight hours will be OK, but after 4.00pm slacks and jumper.

I was there a week ago and there was a cold wind. Didn't see anyone in shorts.

I'm in Mojacar Playa for most of the past two weeks. It has been windy and even occasionally cold, but people are wearing shorts. I'm enjoying a drink on our terrace as I write. I would normally be wearing shorts, but have just come back from Mass.

Lovely in the sun,was actually 23 the other day at lunchtime, shorts are fine for the sunny days but be aware, the mornings are getting crisp and after 4pm it does go cool rather quickly.

We have had a bit of a chilly wind for the last few days but that seems to have subsided for now and it did rain on Friday afternoon for an hour or so but soon cleared up for saturday which was glorious.

We have just started to put our log fire on in the evenings as the houses here are designed to stay cool but its very cosy. Would suggest you bring over some jumpers or long sleeved cardies as even in the midday, shaded areas are cool.

Dont say it out loud to anyone here as they will think i am mad but we walked on the beach in the waves yesterday and although it was a bit cold it was pleasant.

Whatever the weather though its still a hell of a lot nicer than the cold and damp of britain.

Kev.

Hi

We have moved here this week, I'm in dresses and cardigans and its still warm but slightly breezy. Us brits are so glad of the weather compared to what I left in Leamington Spa. I think its still warm during the day and have caught the sun. The locals also are dressed up more as its cold to them based on summer temperature s of 50 degrees. I think it's beautiful so dress for spring, would be my advice the area is amazing and everyone are so friendly we instantly feel at home after just a week. Jackets and shall.
