I bought a property in April and called Galasa 3 times to figure out how the amounts they were withdrawing from my bank account were being calculated. I also asked if I could create an online account with them so I could monitor myself. While partly my fault because I don't speak Spanish yet, I have heard nothing from them (and have given up trying to speak with someone at their office) and have no idea what to do. Should I go back to the lawyer I used to buy the property and who set up the utilities and withdrawal facility for me. Any suggestions? Thanks, Angela

Hi Angela you could try going into the office, if you fancy doing it on your own maybe you could use the 'say hi' app which will translate what you say into Spanish.

Do you suspect you have a leak? If you do the advice on the website is same as it would be at home ie shut off all the taps and see if your meter is still running. If it is call a plumber.

You should have had about three bills sent to by now.If it’s the same as us Galasa charge every two months.Ifyou know where your meter is you can see how much you use .Our two monthly bills average out around 116 euros,That’s for three bedroom villa with a pool.I was led to believe they speak fairly good English at the office just outside Vera all the best
