Low water pressure

Our urbanization has very low water pressure, has anyone else experienced this? Can a pump overcome this problem?

Turns out is was the adjustable pressure valve at the water meter. It was full of crap and unusable.
Replaced by Tony Taylor (Gas Fast Tel. 618 062 080) and pressure is great..Thanks Tony!
