Can anyone recommend: Patio door sticking
Can anyone recommend a company that can service a sliding patio door. It probably needs new runners.

You can try a little shot of WD40 or Silicone first that might help.
Also did you try cleaning the tracks?
Might save yourself some đź’¶.
Just chancing my arm from experience:- Get a suitable screwdriver and some WD40. There is a screw at the end of your sliding door. Use the screwdriver to turn the screw where your door will then be lifted slightly. You might have to use the WD40 if the screw won’t budge. The screw might be hidden, but it is easy to find.
If that doesn’t work you need a new door.
You can also remove the door if your strong enough.
Removing a sliding glass patio door is usually straightforward, but the glass panels are heavy and awkward, so ideally have two people.
What you'll need
*Screwdrivers (Phillips and flat-head)
* Drill/driver
* Pry bar (small)
* Utility knife
* Gloves and safety glasses
* Suction handles for glass, if available
* Another person to help
1. Remove the screen door
If there is a sliding insect screen:
1. Open it halfway.
2. Locate the adjustment screws at the bottom corners.
3. Turn them to retract the wheels.
4. Lift the screen upwards into the top track.
5. Pull the bottom edge towards you and lower the screen out.
2. Remove the sliding glass panel
1. Slide the glass door to roughly the middle of the opening.
2. Look along the bottom edge for roller adjustment screws. Turn them to retract the rollers as far as possible.
3. With one person on each side, lift the panel upwards into the top track.
4. Pull the bottom edge towards you until it clears the bottom track.
5. Carefully lower the panel and carry it away.
⚠️ Don't try to force it. If it won't lift high enough, there may be an anti-lift block or stop in the top track that needs removing first.
***** Important warning*****
A large double-glazed sliding door panel can easily weigh 50–100+ kg. Don't attempt to catch or manoeuvre it alone. Stand it upright on timber or a padded surface never flat on an uneven floor, as twisting the glass can cause it to break.
Have somewhere ready so you can lay it flat and inspect the rollers and track.Advertisement - posts continue below

Very helpful member
I’ve done this job on a few of the rental properties. First thing is you need to get the sliding panel out. You do this by physically lift it straight up, then swing the bottom out and away. It’s a 2 person job. Inspect the runner for damage as that will probably be worn as well. Then look in the bottom of the door. There will be a couple of bogies. You need to measure these up. A quick google search will find you replacements, at least in the uk, Spain maybe a little bit more of a job. Good luck
David Sercal on the Antas trading estate will do this for you whatsup +34 661 86 62 50 he has done our lounge one which was removing the paint on the runners.
Thanks to everyone that responded. Very helpful.
