A forum is meant to be helpful for everyone viewing it and if all members made recommendations by PM there would be no information on the forum to help others.Please post on the forum your recommendations. 

A recommendation should be someone you've used and found to be good and it's helpful to write a bit about them and what they did for you - Why would you use PM and not post it on the forum? 

Hi Jan, really pleased to hear from you if only to thank you for the Forum. On Arboleas Forum if you post a recommendation for a Company/firm that is not paying them to advertise they take it down. You have to reply as a pm. Erroneously I believed you had the same ruling. So that's clarified that and hence a thankyou. Costasol was excellent and way, way better than the provider we had used for years.

Hi All, a short while ago I recommend a terrific Company called Costasol SL but mistakenly replied as pm's. Jan had quite rightly suggested that I post in the public domain, so here we go.  COSTASOL  SL.

Costasol is a Spanish Company supported in this area by long term Mojacar resident Lloyd Dean. THEY COVER AS FAR AFIELD AS ALBOX-I CHECKED WITH LLOYD. Previously we had always used a Company on the Antas Estate but I was looking for covers for our 2 toldas and thought a second quote would be a good idea. On the recommendation of a neighbour I tried Costasol and their quote was 300 euros lower than our previous Company. In addition to the covers, and still for the asking price, they rotated the awning canvasses and re-fitted a tolda fitted by the Antas Company where the wall fitting was pulling loose and 6 months on was still waiting for the original fitter to rectify. Lloyd called with the Company Manager to measure and there was virtually no lag time to fitting. So a pair of fitters turned up and gratefully one was bilingual although I could have rang Lloyd. The level of professionalism was truly impressive when compared with previous experience.

PS In Mojacar we have Mark of Screens2fit. We had damage to a plisse and our original supplier quoted 250 euros. 40 euros each side to remove and replace, P&P to return to the manufacturing Company and 160 euros for the restringing. Mark charged 80 euros in total for the repair and the product is way better than previously. Wish we had had him supply and fit in the first instance. Mark is on 0034 673 411 362. Again a 100% recommendation.
