1. There's a magazine, stationery, toy, services shop next door to Thomas's supermarket (opposite the stables) you could do worse than approach them re UK newspapers. Please note you'll not get the full "UK" edition of the Sunday Times in Spain.

2. The Tabac (Ciggy) Shop between Lopez and Parque Commercial is a good bet too.

3. You probably would save a few bob by purchasing the online edition of any of the UK newspapers.

4. I'm not au-fait with any library service in Mojacar, but it would be worth a try and possible a free read.

5. Now, you could ask my 2nd next door neighbour in Mojacar and she has more news than all the newspapers.😉

Total Entertainment when it's open doesn't do newspapers.  The useful little kiosk that was in Parque Commercial closed before Covid and hasn't come back so the only place is the Tabac shop just pass the Parador on the Playa or Boganvilla supermarket in Garrucha or the Tabac shops in Garrucha or Iceland stores in Vera.

On line is ok but no crossword puzzle to make the grey matter work.  the price is the thing i hate considering they print it in Spain now so there's  no cost to fly it in from UK.

I have the mail on line and mainly only get it for the crossword but it’s readable and is only 10.99 per month and you can download all the magazines for free if you have Amazon prime.

Estancia Juana Torres is the Tobacco shop referred to just past the Parador. It is one way in and out. When you go in, go right to the back where the newspapers are. Otherwise you might think they haven’t got any! Then pay in the other half of the shop on the way out.
