I need to purchase roof bars and a car top box prior to driving back to the UK (lots of time yet !). Are there any stores or outlets (similar to Halfords ?) that sell such things within the Andalucia region ? No problems travelling but may need specialist roof bars etc for my Volvo XC60. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
There is a Halfords equivalent called Norauto which sells roof boxes. I know there is definitely one at Murcia shopping centre. You could google and see if they have a branch anywhere else

Do you have a tow bar ?
Is your car uk or Spanish registered if it's uk registered, if it's uk registered I have a lockable trailer I am wanting to sell its a erde which was bought from halfords

There's Aurgi which is like Halfords in Huércal de Almería and Vicar and also Norauto beside MacDonald's just opposite the Almeria Mediterraneo football stadium.
Many thanks to all who responded to my question relating to the purchase of roof rails and top box for my car. I have found what I was looking for at Norauto in Almeria - they were particularly helpful especially as my spanish leaves something to be desired and their english was non existence !
The route in to Norauto was (for me) plagued with road works but was worth the effort. Thanks for the offer of a trailer but I have a suspended cycle trailer attached to the tow bar - hence the need to "go up".

I'm glad you have got sorted, if you here of anyone who is in the market for a small trailer with a lockable top as it can only be used with a car with uk plates on, as my car is now matriculated with Spanish plates
