Hello I am a carer to a lovely lady but unfortunately she is relocating to majacar in the next couple of months,
I am just putting out feelers, she would like a lady to prepare food and help her dress ect (around 3 hours a day, In return she can offer self contained accommodation and a wage.
Could someone be kind enough to let me know roughly what wage per month would be acceptable

Hello I was just reading your post I think if accommodations provided then just a small contribution to wages would be acceptable maybe £70-£100 per week depending on experience.i live in the uk but have about 10yrs experience in care work and I would think that was a fair deal.good luck in finding the right person... katie

Hello, my name is Tia Parker im 19, I don’t have work experience as a carer however I have helped look after both my nan and my sister at home when they became unwell (on separate occasions) I live in garrucha so accomadation would not be necessary however I drive so would be available whenever.

Hi, I just wondered if you had filled the upcoming vacancy yet? I am 50 and always worked as a carer,in hospitals,nursing homes and one to one private personal assistant jobs. I think the rate of pay would depend on the level of support the lady needed. Although there's only 3 hours specified ,would the carer then be free to go off and do their own thing or would the lady need someone around in case of any potentialproblems,for example can she get herself to the loo,make a drink,be generally safe if alone,or does she have a partner of family who are relocating with her? I have just come out of a very toxic (mild description) long relationship and came across this page whilst searching for care work in the canary islands,I am very serious about moving abroad for a fresh start and would love to hear more details about this position if it's still available.
