Hi Everyone
I`m hoping to come out in May for a week to do some scouting around with a view to buy somewhere later this year, does anyone have any apartment to let for a week or reccomend a hotel in the region of Mojacar, and it would be a great opportunity to meet with some expats to gain some local knowledge in exchange for a meal or 2 :-)
Also can anyone reccomend a reasonable car rental

There has been an excellent post within the last few days regarding the perils of using certain Car Hire Firms, together with an excellent response by Rob. I also chipped in. You can also arrange www.exclusiveairportshuttles from Almeria and/or Alicante airports and.collect a hire car from a Mojacar firm like Costa Coches. There are 2 or 3 in Mojacar.
The Continental Hotel gets.goid reviews.
Tourist info on. [email protected] can give you a list of B&Bs.

Dave at Al Andalus Car Hire is really good all forms are filled out on line before you get there no waiting around, cars always clean and Dave always at end of phone if any problems, not the cheapest but hassle free and actually when you start adding all the extras and insurances etc to the big companies prices Dave's prices are not out of line
