Hola everyone.

My wife and I are holidaying in mojacar this September /October. We are both looking forward to it very much. As we both have a long standing affection for Spain (mallorca inc) we also view our futures there too. Debbie (said wife) has lived in los gallardos before, from 2002 to 2007 and is very much looking forward to seeing the village again. On a broader note I hope to talk to some people about hosting some Soul and Motown nights in the future. We still see the thrill and pleasure the nights give people back here in Brighton when they are on. Maybe there are a lot of like minded folk in the Almeria area who like to still get moving to those old classics. Let me know. Hope to see you soon

Hello everyone

My husband did his first post earlier . We are hoping to move back to Almeria in the near future.

I moved there back in 2003 (although he said 2002 lol and moved back to England with my 3 daughters in 2008

I loved my years living in Los gallardos ,

My daughters were in the Julie Bruce dance academy and I helped out there too

We are not sure what area to live in yet as you know it's all beautiful

But my husband Pete is very keen on hosting soul and Motown nights which he does here in Brighton, they are so popular.

We are coming over at the end of September and looking forward to meeting up with old friends

Hi, we are in Mojacar Playa not full time yet but back and forward so would be very interested in any Motown events.

Hi Graham & Gerry

Thanks for showing an interest. I am going to be looking for a regular venue hopefully. Hope that you might be out around 29th September to 6th October and maybe share a beer. Anyway I will be keeping people abreast of developments with news updates.

If we can attract them then for sure. I have a really good friend in Brighton who has put on acts like Shalamar, The Temptations, Alexander O'neal , Martha Reeves etc. Hopefully we could sell sufficient tickets to get them on board.
