Hi Denise

I moved to Los gallardos in 2003 with my 3 children aged 7 6 and 3 we lived there for 5 years and my children were all very happy.

They have another language which most British people will never have and it was a wonderful experience for us all.

As my youngest hadn't started school I bought English reading books and I taught her to read English myself.

I bought The oxford reading tree books , as English was only taught as another language like our children are taught French .

It is quite daunting the first day you leave them at school but by 6 months they are speaking Spanish fluently ,and they will make friends quickly .

Good luck with your move

From Debbie

Thankyou Debbie for that message .. it’s made it less worrying about the schools .. I hope they will settle and make friends as it’s such a big move for them..
