I fell and broke 2 front teeth earlier this year and believe I will need 2 implants as they cannot be repaired.

Getting an appointment in UK is very slow and my dentist does not do implants so would have to refer me to a implantologist and waiting lists will be long as they have to leave 1 hour between appointments to allow any covid to settle out of the air!

I am here for another 4 weeks and am considering having the implants done here - does anyone have any experience with this and if so are there any recommendations (or otherwise!)

Not looking forward to this but putting it off may not be the best idea!

Brian

Hi Brian

I don't think there's a quick way to get implants following the correct procedure. This requires a consultation followed by several appointments over various months.

I have had various implants performed by my superdentist in Almeria city.  Each implant took several months to complete and can require a bone implant if you have been without your tooth for some time.  There can also be problems if you are a diabetic or a smoker because of healing issues which can even lead to the implants having to be removed.  I knew of one lady who had a whole top set implanted in Dundee and all the implants had to be removed before she'd had them longer than a year!  Please don't believe that there is any completely safe way which is quick and do beware of overly attractive prices which may seem bargains, but only include the titanium implant itself but not the porcelain crown that is screwed on top !  An implant in Spain should cost around 1400 euros for the whole treatment and finished implant, approximately.
