Hello everyone, we're a couple and have discussed often about the possibility of moving to Mojacar.  But recently husband was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer, and is receiving treatment at The Royal Marsden.  I am wondering if there is a specialist cancer hospital who can offer treatment of Avelumab/Axitinib, and also offer another first line treatment if this combo fails to work.  Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.

So Sorry to learn of your husband's cancer not sure if he would be able to come to Mojacar and receive the treatments he is getting at the Royal Marsden.  You have all the red tape because of Brexit to jump over before you can even come here and medical treatment for health problems might not be covered as you probably couldn't get insurance.  If you managed to overcome all the problems and are of state pension age you might get cover on an S1 but not for specialist care.  Cancer treatment for different cancers are given at different hospitals I had breast cancer which was treated at the local hospital in Hercal Overa and in Almeria.  Friends had bowel cancer and had to travel to Granada and they had medical insurance cover.

I wish you all the luck you need to get through the treatment and come out the other side.

Sadly I agree with Alicia; part of the visa application process is a medical clearance, which I fear your husband would not receive

Also need translator if don't speak enough Spanish.  Things here are much trickier.  Could just just stay for short periods instead?
