Hi again,

Just wondered how long the average buying process takes?

Will be in coastal resort, resale and we are cash buyers.

Thanks in anticipation for your advice.

Sue.

Hi, we were in a similar position as cash buyers. Took about 12 weeks but could have been a few weeks shorter as we let seller choose a completion date to suit them and had Christmas in between.

Good luck

Dave

We paid our deposit end of August and completed end of October last year. It was about  8 weeks in total, and we were also cash buyers. We were pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy the whole process was. Hope this helps.

Ours was four weeks...crazy! We bought from a bank so had to provide proof of where our money came from.  Luckily it was all in spanish banks..picked the keys up last week 🙂🙂

Good afternoon.

I purchased in July last year and I must say, the process was quite smooth.
My solicitor took care of everything, from obtaining an NIE number, setting up of a Spanish bank account, utility & bills set up. I think as a cash buyer, the process is a lot quicker, as you can direct the speed of the process, once you provide proof of funds.

My best advice would be to find a good solicitors, as they are the ones that can dictate how things go with the vendors and coordinate proceedings at your pace!

Good luck

Danny
