The reason that I am on this forum has nothing at all to do with you. By the way, just because I am on this forum, doesn’t mean that I am actually in Spain. Amazing isn’t it, it’s called technology.

The reason that the U.K. is coming out of the EU is called democracy, it is a concept concerned with government by the people, not by a few people who think they know better than the majority of voters. The Conservatives have a simple majority of 80 seats and a probable working majority of 87 seats, they will be governing for many years as there is no credible or effective opposition.

Brexit will be a success! Or do you want it to fail so that you can say “I told you so”.

I hope things go well for the UK outside of the EU. The EU will miss the UK, certainly we Irish will miss the UK as a fellow EU member. 

The Commonwealth is to be revitalised. This can only be good, but I have reservations if the Commonwealth will react as predicted by Mr Johnson.

Scotland and Northern Ireland are the UK's immediate problems. Both, I think will leave the UK. Scotland will do it cleanly, but I fear what will happen in Northern Ireland as I don't believe any country is worth the loss of one drop of blood. 

Dario is predicting the eventual rejoining of the EU by the UK, but I think this won't happen in my lifetime.

On a lighter note, I am listening to the President of Ireland being interviewed live on Irish television and he expressed hope that when the UK achieves "Greatness" again, it will keep the hand of friendship towards ROI.

Your name calling of Donald Trump is very childish although I am surprised that you managed to find all those long words in the dictionary. The foul language that you use is not necessary in polite and educated society. 

Having said that though, you will need to find many more words as President Trump will almost certainly win a second term because the left in America, as in the UK, cannot find a credible candidate. The economy of the USA is doing extremely well, the stock market is at record highs and the unemployment rate is down to almost record levels.

The Labour Party is in great danger of fading away as the once mighty Liberal Party of Victorian times did. Unless the Labour Party becomes more relevant to modern society and starts telling the truth - eg show the viability and feasibility of funding broadband for everyone, free tuition fees for all students, nationalisation of railways and utilities etc. 

See what I did then, I justified my comment! I did not just hysterically roll out the same old slogans.

As for your point saying that the U.K. will rejoin the EU, I don’t think that will happen. It is more likely that EU will begin to lose more member states as they see what a success the UK makes of Brexit.

The language I used may not have been fit for “polite and educated society” but as it was aimed at you, clearly I am in neither.  Unemployment is down in the States as more people are having to work multiple jobs just to make ends meet. The stock market isn’t at an “all time high” - the DJ is back to where it was roughly when Obama left office. And the economy isn’t as crash hot as you try to make out - but that’s just Tory self delusion for you.... but it’s pointless, you don’t want to believe anything other than what utter nonsense the right feeds you.  Utterly unable to think for yourself, you simply repeat the lies and nonsense you are fed.  you sir are a dullard and will remain so.  And it is dullards such as yourself that will continue to destroy what once was a great party.  If you are the future of the tories .... then truly the tories have no future.

That aside, to the original poster, I will have a chat with a friend of mine who is an estate agent here and get a firm and solid idea of what house / property prices are doing in the Mojácar area.  There will be “blips” and anomalies, but I fear at the moment things will be stagnant.  Good news if you are looking to buy, not such brilliant news if you’re trying to sell.  It also I suggest depends on your buying power.  I would not be so gauche as to ask, however I will try and get property price info across a range of prices so you can see where you fit in.
