Happy New Year

I have been out to Mojacar in November and over Xmas and found it took days to dry towels and washing outside. Apart from using laundrettes or dryers is there any tips or gadgets to speed the drying process.

Thanks for taking time to reply.

  1. Washed mine last night. Put them in the sun @ 10am. All dry @ 2pm. (Towels and hoodies). If you can get them in the sun, it is quite warm.

Hattiebetsy, you need to move to a place that gets sunshine during the day. If you don't wish to move, then you need to get your wet towels on the line pretty early or at least from the night before. Anytime we put our washing on the line even in winter it was dried within two hours (includes towels).

You might be right Matthew about moving to a place that gets sunshine all day !! Unfortunately on my complex washing lines are not allowed so it’s maidens on the terrace and two hours might be pushing it !!

use the dryers in the laundry place in Parque Commercial only 3€ for enough time to dry a full wash and have a cup of coffee.  if you want to wash that only takes 29 minutes and is 6€ big wash 4€ smaller.  open all the time

Correct but we are only there 7 days at a time and it was not windy so need some sort of gadget inside to do the trick.

Have you looked for an electric clothes dryer?  Perhaps you could buy one.   they are not very expensive.
