The company has a very high profile in the UK. Does that help haha I do not want to jeopardize our chances of getting our money back but if I had a choice I would use a different company for my Spanish property x

You may have a better chance if you name them, no company likes bad publicity if you name them you are more likely to get you money back( I was thinking of putting my property in someone's hands)

...ive and basically been telling us for 3 weeks that the transfer is imminent. Is this common in Spain or indeed anywhere we have never rented through a company before. Thank you, wish we were there x

..., they were flexible in transferring security deposits between properties, and our security deposit was paid back the day we vacated. The key is to build a friendly relationship and if necessary stay in regular contact in my opinion.
