We holiday in the area quite frequently and use the Bonaire shopping centre to stay in a hotel and bus through the affected areas to the centre. Sad to see on Sky news that the underground carpark at the shopping centre which is 3 floors is completely flooded and they are still looking for bodies using divers. Hope that all the cars were empty and everyone escaped safely be it into an horrific daily fight to get some normality out of the disaster.

Why did they think it was appropriate for the King and Queen to go on a walkabout when all they wanted was much more help from the authorities, thank god for the locals who have come to the rescue.

I think the king and queen would have been criticised if they had not made an appearance. It's a case of you can't win or please everybody. They waited a week before visiting in order to not be in the way, although President Sanchez advised against their visit.

The most violent and abusive people have not been recognised as being residents in Paiporta and there is evidence to suggest that the radical ultra right organised the violent display and indeed the Vox party has not condemned the wrecking of the official car or indeed any of the violence.
