There are currently no restrictions in place preventing you from travelling from one region/province to another, given the high vaccination rates in Spain that's not likely to change even with the event of Omicron.

Hi,

New to this but just wondering if anyone brought their own belongings in a van from the uk to The huercal-overa area? If so what were your experiences, prices, etc? we’re not thinking of bringing a massive amount but Obviously there are a few bits of of furniture and personal items that we want to bring to help us settle in quicker.

after Brexit when you enter the country with your belongings in a van you must expect to be stopped by customs and asked to provide proof of purchase and ownership for import duty.  all the big companies now have to provide detailed lists of what they are carrying.  of course you may not be stopped which is a chance to take.  you can bring stuff in free provided you have proof of your ownership over the years nothing brand new.

Thanks for your response, I’m just wondering what happens with items that you collect over the years that you just wouldn’t keep receipts for or those you may have bought second hand.

i suppose it depends on the customs officers on the day if it looks old and used they can't say it's new can they?
