going to Uk from Santander soon.  Anyone had recent experience of the port with regard to passport control.  If you have TIE do they not stamp your passport.   Also what was the food like on board?   We were meant to go on the first trip of the new ferry in 2020 but have had to cancel and rebook 21 and now 22 so it's been going for a while now.

Also what was it like Pompey end busy or flowing ok?

Well.  I have used both ports and Bilbao was easier just show your TIE card and tickets and the queuing was easy

The food was not bad.   But I not a good sea going person so I have to take tablets and sleep.  Sea Sickness is quite bad.

Hope you have safe jou

Came Portsmouth to Santander last Friday. Galicia is the new boat built 2020 we have sailed 4 times on her. Restaurant for dinner this year was self serve, so you have to choose starter mains and dessert and take them to your table. So it’s a bit Heath Robison juggling all the food on the table. Food is ok breakfast either pay £6.50 for a full English or take the free continental which is a bit basic. Regards the TIE there is an article on Brits in Spain on Facebook regards stamping of the passport. Disembarking at either UK or Spain can be either 25 mins or as this time 60 mins.

You do not want the UK passport stamped

Just show the the facing page with photo and show them the Resendency  (TIE) Card

That is all you do…..

I am sorry but good is the last thing on my mind on the boat.

If you take the time to read the UK. gov article it doesn’t alter your status if you have a TIE and have your passport stamped. Regards food it’s not top class but as it’s part of the package take it or leave it.

Enjoy your trip.  Go with a positive mind.  We always have a great time.  Life's an adventure.  We are having a fab time here.  Seeing friends and family, visiting old haunts,  finding new favourite places, shopping etc.  Have fun and stay safe.

Been on that boat

food is absolutely shit I ended up having a meeting with the captain and the chef to discuss this and they didn't have an answer only to offer a free meal with wine

Another disaster but the wind was ok
