MOVING SOON TO MOJACAR

All the things you want to get involved in are easily available here.There are at least 2 walking clubs,badminton is played at the local sports centre and the library/book exchange in the multi use centre in Mojacar is worth a visit re book events etc.What I will say though is this,we have lived here four years now and the things I thought I would do when we came here are different to what we do now.Things evolve here as you meet new people.It is a great life,you are making a good decision. 

There is lots to do out here.

You might want to consider joining The Mojacar Walking Group. We meet up on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a group walk with between 20-30 people attending. Hi Knoxy. We had Next install our internet. It's done via a mast so no need for a telephone line. If you don't need a telephone you can simply use wifi for calls.

As part of their deal, they also installed a UKTV box for us (basically Freeview) which again is delivered through the internet. Don't have exact info with me but installation I think was around 100 euros. The TV box was a one off fee of 99 euros I believe. Very reliable service we have found to date (got it in May).

We are on the vacations package. Including tax comes in at just under 34 euros per month. But you can switch it off when not there - think around aboput 4 euros per month then.

Facebook Mojacar Forum is also great for local activities and Spanish lessons etc .
