I watched Nigel Farage and Robert Jenrick being interviewed yesterday. Farage used his media training to exact every drop of his preferred publicity. Among his comments were he refused application to join Reform from some politicians and future defectors to Reform would have to demonstrate what they can bring to the party.

There were different opinions on Jenrick's defection from members of the public in his constituency interviewed in later news bulletins.

Unless someone pops him off, then I think the answer is YES. Nigel farage will be the next Prime Minister of the UK. Although others on here have said otherwise in the past, I can't see any other outcome. Having said that. I think Starmers days are numbered and someone like Reynor will take over and complete the destruction of the Labour Party

'You haven’t got a clue’: RTÉ’s Claire Byrne challenges Nigel Farage over his knowledge of Ireland

This is  90 second of an interview between Clair Byrne (Irish television) and Nigel Farage which took place around three years ago. It's  part of a clip which lasted around twelve minutes. Byrne asked Farage what he knew of Irish History to which he walked into the usual "trap."

I must say that we don't get too much of Nigel Farage in Ireland. He's a supreme debater though provided you don't think about what he is saying. If you watch the full 12 minute clip you'll get an idea of how much Nigel Farage tries to control his tv interviews.

Fraud Farage is a spineless grifter who will do exactly what Trump / Vance tells him to do. I had hoped that the voters of the UK had learned the lesson from Brexit but it appears not. I listen to Reform voters complaining about the standard of public services in the UK - you haven’t seen anything yet, huge tax cuts to multimillionaires and profits diverted to the USA all paid for by cuts to public services in the UK. Particularly in the health regime (and it will effect us here in Spain, particularly if Farage throws out legally resident Europeans).

All is not lost, the fight back will start in the US and we may wake up in time.

If he does then the lunatics have taken over the asylum!

Well that’s because nobody wanted another five years of Tory government, so it seemed the right thing to do given the mess the Tories had got the country into in their 14 year tenure. Unfortunately, Labour have been similarly incompetent. But pinning our hopes on Nigel’s ego and his band of Tory failures isn’t wise.

But this is not a Labour government,  this is Starmer taking the party to the right  and not helping those that put him in power,

Labour needs to change leader, they may than have a chance to stop the fascist Reform party ( ex Tory party).

I agree the Tories were a very poor government.  "seeming the right thing to do" has proven to be a disaster.  What choice do we have now?    Not the Green party for lords sake. Lib Dems......No.

I'm struggling, so Reform seems the only option I'm sorry to say.
