Wish they had!!! The people doing it got planning apparently 2 or 3 years ago and all is in order, they are huge trust me anything from 3 - 4 hectares to 8 or 9............whole hill side. I only bought the house 18 months ago, they do not seem to do searches as they do in the UK for any de...

...velopments due to happen, I would not have bought this house had I known. What worries me is does this open the flood gates to others and more of them as we are surrounded by countryside?!! We have already noticed some really tatty ugly ones which have suddenly gone up further along. These people doing the one's opposite our houses, tell us they produce biological crops, have bought us boxes of fresh veg which is lovely, taken some of my neighbours to other sites to show them how they do it all etc etc, all really kind, but, they just don't seem to get it, i.e. what effect it has on those living by them..............the huge lorries which will come daily to pick up produce = dust and noise, bleep bleep as refrigerated juggernauts reverse in and drive out and, a minimum of 40 people we have been informed coming and going to do the picking daily and then, the blot on the countryside. The one saving grace is they have been told they cannot import labour has to be locals people fantastic. But for us we are left with noise, dust, and the green houses.....people coming and going, might as well be on a highway!!.......oh joy!! When we had peace and beauty. Sorry to moan but we are gutted.
Really feel for you Victor, we purposely purchased in Mojacar (Playa) as it seemed well away from the main areas of greenhouses. I am very surprised that they managed to get permission to do this in such an area of outstanding beauty. Let’s hope the authorities limit any other potential applications.

if you drive as if on the road to Los Gallardos (last Mayor who gave the go ahead not one in situ) Las Alparatas turn off land in between this and Los Gallardos.

We are being told that YOUR land is your land.........outside of that agricultural land for agriculture not building etc etc etc. It is some chap from Venezuela who owns the land then given this bio growing company the rights to farm it, he will earn annually well from this land he rents out and the company for crops exported etc but I am with you just so wrong on so many levels to allow it. Money...............that is what this is all about from start to finish. I bet the guy who owns the land who we have met along with his solicitor wife........have lots of land......they live near Huercal Overa I think.......and I also bet there are no green houses on it!!
Such a shame that your view got ruined only 18 months after buying!!! So can you actually see the invernadero from your house?(sorry of you've already said, haven't read every post!)
Any chance you might not notice it after a while?? (I am kidding)
I hope something gets sorted for you,but like you said, unfortunately its down to money money money.
Good luck !
