Hi
I know this has been posted before but sorry can't find replies.
Need someone to look at an air conditioning unit that has stopped working. We are in Mojacar but any recommendations from any area welcome.
Thanks Jackie

Had to have our system upgraded last year as was pst repair ( 16 years old)
DCM were very good and would certainly recomend them. They sent all details to us in UK as we had to go back and arranged to fit when we were next out.
WE have Lounge and 3 bedrooms all ducted from one unit with individual airzone controls.
I dealt mainly with Rose there,

Hello. We also have ducted air con, which, although extremely expensive to run, is quite old. What did they do to upgrade - replace with individual units or more/indicative costs etc? Many thanks

We initially had the compressor unit on the roof replaced to a slightly larger modern model and left the airzone controls alone. However we then had to upgrade the airzone as the individual controls were no longer available.
I cannot remember the exact cost of the new unit as the invoice is in the appattment. We left the airzone to start with but we ended upwith only one control and there were no longer compatible ones available.
We then changed the airzone at a cost of 906 euros made upas follows:
1 x Centalita @ 499 euros
2 x Slave remotes @ 199 euros
1 x Pasarella @ 209 euros
We are not permanent residents only in Spain for about 8 weeks each year but dont believe it is that expennsive to run as efficienty uses external (air temperature ) heat scource for heating. Accept it can be expensive for cooling if run continuously.
In fact after using thiscsystem in Spain I used the same system in two commercial buildings in England with a total capacity of 30kwh.
If you contact Rose she willprobably be able to look up me as Bob Davies, Palomares. Last work was completed in March 2019
