Hi. Not usually but certain types of weather can increase the number of insects around so you never know. We always used to take antihistamine tablets for 2 weeks before going on holiday. They don't stop the bites but they do stop or reduce the reaction. This worked for us on holidays to countries all over the world including Spain.

Many many people have used 'avon skin so soft' the green bottle especially against mozzies,it has deet which is/was a chemical made by the yanks for use in vietnam/korea' I spke to someone yesterday that said it is getting haredr to get so maybe stock up
