Has anyone declared alcohol in order to pay duty on entering uk. I understand your personal limit is 18 litres of wine but any above this amount can be declared online prior to arrival and duty is charged at a nominal fee. How much is a nominal fee? If caught over the limit duty is paid on the total amount including the 18 litres
